Encounter
Bismillah
Do not let my heart go astray.
On the everyday life situation, conflict and on the joyous things of life.
I meet a person ,who asked me to be in the position of a 'liberal way of life'.
Which mean (in his context), you can married to anyone despite of your religion (eg;you can married to a buddhist if you are a muslim), you can hold hand with the non-muhrim without worrying others people view.
because it is a free country, and everyone is doing it.
It is a mix culture country.
........
I simply said that;
This is what I want to be , I want to be different,I don't want to be the 'everyone'.Allah is watching me.
Maybe it's hard for him to understand ,as I am not the best of people to explain it to him.
And yes I was shocked, those are the only words that came out from my mouth at that time.
He said that he is willing to learn about Islam.
with a little advise to him, I told him:
"do not do it (convert to Islam) because of a person."
yes,it might help him to get closer to Islam.
but to be with Islam is a dunya akhirah relationship.
I believe to learn Islam with the purest intention possible,
will help him to love Islam, and make him a better Muslim than I am.
May Allah guide him.
And during those conversation, I keep remembering this particular surah from the Quran, Al -kafirun:
Stand on your deen, your belief.
You will never know ,when you will be tested and be tempted with the worldly benefits.
Be smart.
Be on your guard.
Do not let my heart go astray.Oh Allah.
And thank you Allah,to make it easy for me to be honest with this person.
Thank you for the beautiful path that you had prepared for me, before meeting this person.
In deed You know what is the best for me.
Thank you Allah.
Wslm.
grateful
